imbuida en flores,
yo te canto con el alma
empapada de rocío.

pródigamente verde y floral,
cada mañana, cuando el sol aparece en el horizonte
se arrodilla mi espíritu de milpa primaveral
y entonces Dios escucha
la más ferviente oración.
Patria mía,
cada vez que pronuncio
tu sacrosanto nombre
en mi corazón se derrama
la poesía más dulce y excelsa.

te beso, con un beso,
de mi alma de marimba enamorada.
