En las comunidades mayas se vive profundamente el valor de nuestra palabra. Es decir, cumplir con lo que prometemos. Que explica coherencia entre lo que pensamos, lo que decimos, lo que hacemos y admiramos . Es muy raro que se necesiten contratos en donde se firme lo que prometemos o hacemos. Màs raro aùn que se incumpla lo que se promete. Si no cumplimos, nuestra dignidad, orgullo, honestidad, confianza y nuestra vida se vida se ven afectados. No seremos màs dignos de confianza en nuestra comunidad donde vivimos nuestra vida entera.
